MATCH REPORT: Angelo Verheye/KAA Gent/Pro League, Belgium(1st Tier)

Angelo is bottom center, to the left of the person wearing yellow.
Oct 29 2011 Mons  1-1  Gent

Angelo's KAA Gent dominated the game but had to settle for a draw. Despite numerous shots on goal and a clearly dominant personnel lineup, the Buffaloes just could not find the back of the net.

Perhaps it was the home pitch advantage because the overmatched Mons still managed the first goal in the second half at the 68th minute. Not to be out done, the Buffaloes scored 10 minutes later via a penalty goal to even  the score, 1-1. It is important to note that before the penalty goal, another goal by Gent was disallowed that was very arguably a bad call.

The draw gives Gent a point and solidifies its hold on the number 2 spot of the Belgian premier league.

Angelo is a member of the reserve/U21 team. He is currently in the Philippines trying to get his Philippine passport so he can participate in the SAE games with the U23 team.

Next fixture: Nov 5 2011 a home game against Mechelen, currently in 11th place.
