Roland Müller starts at goalkeeper and steers MSV Duisburg II to a win!

Roland Müller is the anchor for MSV Duisburg II's win against Schermbeck. 


Roland's MSV Duisburg II visited the home pitch of the middling NRW-Liga team Schermbeck. Although highly ranked, MSV Duisburg II could not find the back of the net in the first half, but neither did the home team. Guarding the goal well was Philippine national team goal keeping standout Roland Müller. The first half ended at 0-0.

The second half saw Schermbeck continuing to stifle the Zebras attack until at a late 75th minute, the Zebras finally found its first goal, 0-1 for the visitors. Then 10 minutes later another Zebra goal effectively ended any hopes of the home team to tie the game. Another win for MSV Duisburgs U23 team as it quietly climbs the rankings on its way to becoming a power house of its division.

MSV Duisburg II climbs to 5th place in the 18 team NRW-Liga a 5th tier league mostly composed of U23 teams of 1.Bundesliga or 2.Bundesliga clubs.
