KEVIN INGRESO promoted from Hamburger SV(U19) to Hamburger SV II

MATCH REPORT: Kevin Ingreso/Hamburger SV II/Regionalliga Nord, Germany(4th Tier)

Feb 18 2012  Holstein Kiel  3-1  Hamburger SV II

Kevin Ingreso is promoted from Hamburger SV's U19 team to its Reserve/U23 team. This is the fourth time in the season that the 19 year old has been elevated to the Reserve team. While Ingreso's U19 team has been dominating its youth league, Hamburger SV II has been average.

Holstein Kiel opened the scoring at the tail end of the first half(39'). That would be all for the scoring in the first half, 1-0 for the home team.

The second half saw HK score at the 63rd minute but not giving up HSV II would score at the 78th. It was too little to late as the home team would strike again at the 82nd minute. At 88' a red card is suffered by Kevin Ingreso's HSV II effectively sealing the win for the home team.

Kevin started the match and was eventually subbed out at the 69th minute.

The opponent, Holstein Kiel is a definite powerhouse in the Regionalliga Nord as they sit at 2nd place. Hamburger SV II after its loss to them are now 9th place. Note that Denis Wolf also plays in this league with 1.FC Magdeburg, currently 16th in the 18 team league. Manny Ott is in the same league but is in the Regionalliga South.

Next fixture: Feb 25 2012 a home game against BAK '07, currently in 5th place.

NOTE: Hamburger SV II is a nominal U23 team but it also contains players over that age. Some are new and being integrated into the club, some are senior team players recuperating from injuries etc.
