MATCH REPORT: Dennis Cagara/FSV Frankfurt/2.Bundesliga, Germany(2nd Tier)

Feb 18 2012  Eintracht Frankfurt  6-1  FSV Frankfurt

Dennis Cagaras FSV Frankfurt was demolished by the home team as the visiting FSV Frankfurt once again shows its inept defense. The match called the "city derby" as both teams are based in Frankfurt drew a huge crowd of over 40,700 screaming fans. The first half saw the 2.Bundesliga leading team Eintracht Frankfurt score at the 14' and 33' to make the score at the end of the first half 2-0. Although outscored at this point Dennis Cagaras FSV Frankfurt was also trying hard on offense and could have found the back of the net except for the opponents great goal keeping.

The second half began and almost immediately Eintracht Frankfurt showed why they are the reigning 2.Bundesliaga team. They scored at the 61' and 67'. FSV Frankfurts two new player pickups combined to score immediately(68') to make the score 4-1, but it was too  little too late as the home team continued to score(70', 80'). Final marks 6-1
Eintracht Frankfurt.

FSV Frankfurts is 16th in the 18 team league and is in danger of relegation. It is 3rd worst in offense but has picked up good complimentary offensive players during the winter break, 2 of them combining for the lone goal. On defense they are tied for LAST place with 44 goals surrendered in 22 games. This was why Dennis Cagara was recently signed, but he has yet to step on the pitch for the team. It is possible after this defensive debacle, that he could see some playing time.

Dennis as mentioned did not play and was not in the game roster.

Next fixture: Feb 26 2012 a home game against Karlsruher SC, currently in 15th place.
