TEAM UPDATES: Paul Mulders(ADO Den Haag) & Jason de Jong(jong FC Dordrecht

MATCH REPORT: Paul Mulders/ADO Den Haag/Eredivisie, Netherlands(1st Tier)

Feb 18 2012 ADO Den Haag  1-1  Excelsior

It was a game of two halves for Paul Mulders ADO Den Haag as they escaped with a point for tying the hapless Eredivisie team, Excelsior. The home team, ADO, played an agressive game in the first half with numerous opportunities to find the back of the net, unfortunately all chances were stopped by the hard working Excelsior goal keeper including some lucky leg saves. Finally at the 35' an ADO Den Haag attack forced an Own Goal by the opponent, 1-0 for the Hagenaars. It would be much of the same for the rest of the first half, the Hague leading 1-0.

Seemingly a new team started the second half for the Hague as a momentary carelessness allowed the visiting minnow a goal to tie the home team, 1-1 at the 49th minute! This goal was similar to the goal by ADO's last opponent FC Utrecht that allowed them to take the lead in the first half! Both teams had chances to score in the remaining time available but were unable too. The match ended in a disappointing draw for Pauls team.

Since the beginning of the year, the Hague has not won a game with a 0 win 3 draws and 3 loss record. ADO Den Haag falls to 13th place in the 18 team Eredivisie.

Paul Mulders started in ADO Den Haags YOUTH team loss a few days ago. He was on this games roster but did not play. By all account, Paul has recovered from his previous minor groin injury.
