MATCH REPORT: Kevin Ingreso/Hamburger SV/1.Bundesliga, Germany(1st Tier)

Kevin Ingreso, Hamburger SV
Oct 22 2011  Hamburger SV  1-1  Wolfsburg

Things are looking up for Kevin Ingreso and 1.Bundesliga minnow, Hamburger SV. With a new coach in Thorsten Fink and a home fixture against a good Wolfsburg team, hopes were high for a new beginning in the home arena. Unfortunately, hopes were dashed immediately with just a little over 60 seconds having gone bye when the opponent scored a goal to make it 1-0, Wolfburg! Seemingly content with the lead, Wolfsburg sat on their lead.

The second half belonged to Hamburg as they desperately attacked to regain initiative in the game. With the new coaches' instructions and the fans getting behind the team, the equalizer was finally made at the 56th minute. The score will remain to earn the new Head Coach a point in his first game with the team. A mention should be made for the great work by Hamburgers' keeper and his defense. This day they played like a true 1.Bundesliga defense.

Hamburger SV is now 17th in the 18 team 1.Bundesliga, an improved spot from last game when they were 18th and dead last.

Kevin Ingreso remains a member of the 1st team, unfortunately he was not in the game roster.

Next fixture(DFB Pokal Cup): Oct 26 2011 an away game against Eintracht Trier, currently 2nd place in the Regionalliga West(4th tier) .
