MATCH REPORT: Jeffrey Christiaens/KM Torhout/Third Division League, Group A, Belgium(3rd tier)

Jeff in KM Torhout kit
Oct 22 2011 Torhout 0-3 Ronse

Jeff's KM Torhout lost at home against a very tough Ronse team today. Ronse a team of mostly French descent players imposed its will against the home team defeating them 0-3. At the early stages of the game, Ronse was already imposing its will against the home team. There was a feeling of "when" they will score rather than 'if'. When the dam broke, it poured. Goals by Ronse at the 44th minute was followed immediately at the next minute, 0-2 Ronse at the half.

Try as they may, the home team could not find the back of the net(a problem they have had since the beginning of the season). At the 66th minute Ronse scored again for the last time in the game, final score 0-3 Ronse.

Jeff came in at the 72nd minute to help create some offense yet it was a gesture, too late. The score remained 0-3.

According to bigfoot, usapangfootball.proboards.com's resident Belgian scout(aka Jacques' dad), Jeff will leave Belgium on Oct 30th for Manila, he will miss the Japan training stint because he did not get permission from work and club to do so. He will attend the SEA games and will play in this Saturdays match against La Louviere Centre.

After 12 games, KM Torhout is at 13th in the 18 team 3rd division while Ronse is at 4th.

Next fixture: Oct 30 2011 an away game against La Louviere Centre, currently in 1st place.
