DENNIS CAGARA finally on the pitch for FSV FRANKFURT of the 2.Bundeslia

MATCH REPORT: Dennis Cagara/FSV Frankfurt/2.Bundesliga, Germany(2nd Tier)

Mar 4 2012  Erzgebirge Aue  4-3  FSV Frankfurt

Dennis Cagara finally hits the pitch for new 2.Bundesliga team FSV Frankfurt! FSV Frankfurt has been busy in the transfer market this past winter break and they seem to have gotten quality players. Of the 3 players who scored in the game, two were recent pick ups. The new player Görlitz would open the scoring at the 19th minute, but a minute later the confused defensive line of Frankfurt would surrender the tying score, 1-1 at the 20'. Fourteen minutes later poor defense of a free kick rebound would pull the home team, Erzgebirge Aue, ahead, 2-1(34'). Then another of FSV Frankfurts pick up, a 1.Bundesliga refugee would score a goal for the fifth time in 5 games, to make it 2-2 at 41st minute. At the 45th minute a veteran FSV Frankfurt player would score his first ever goal for the team to make it a one goal lead, 2-3. Fortunately for Erzgebirge Aue, FSV's defense have been absolutely clueless, allowing a goal at stoppage time, 3-3 for Erzgebirge Aue at 45'+2'.

The second half saw chances for the Frankfurters but they could not finish. The home team had more luck as the still confused defenders of FSV F would surrender the fourth and final goal to make it 4-3(57'). The score would hold until the end.

FSV Frankfurt continue to dither along the relegation zone. they are now 15th in the 18 team 2.Bundesliga(Greuther Fürth is at first).

Dennis Cagara acquitted himself well in this game, not making any mistakes of note. He came in at the 78th minute. With the, so far, poor showing of the regular defensive personnel, Dennis might get more playing time soon.

Next fixture: Mar 10 2012 a home game against 1860 München, currently in 6th place.

  1. They have a game on Mar. 10. I don't think he will be playing in the AFC CC.

  2. I dont think so either although some fans are hopeful. It'd be great if he does play in the CC.
