Denis Wolf's 1.FC Magdeburg salvages a draw against the higher ranked Meuselwitz. And just like the previous games, Magdeburg came out listless in the first half. the home team asserting themselves through early chances at goal. Magdeburg, though lacking offensive forays from its side, the defense gave a good accounting of themselves, by the end of the first half, a frustrated Meuselwitz team could not get any better that a 0-0 tie.
The second half showed a better Magdeburg offense. More clear chances were shown including from their new winter break signing. Despite the better chances the visiting Magdeburg team could not find the back of the net, but neither could the home team. In the end Denis' FC Magdeburg earns a point for the tied game.
1.FC Magdeburg is at the relegation zone. They are 16th in the 18 team Regionalliga Nord.
Denis Wolf has lost his starting spot but has been the first substitute for any changes on the striker/forward position. He came in at the 68th minute to finish the match.
