Mar 4 2012  Torhout  3-2  Bertrix

Jeffrey Christiaens' KM Torhout continues its winning ways as they defeat Belgian 3rd division minnow Bertrix. But all was not well in the beginning for Jeffrey's home team, they were shocked as in the very first minute the visiting Bertrix would score on them, 0-1. Bertrix who was seemingly better and faster than the home team would double the score at the 28th minute(0-2). After this Torhout would get its bearing and would begin to protect its home ground. A few minutes later a great rebound would be pushed into goal to finally put the home team on the board, 1-2 at the 35th minute. At the end of the first half, the score would remain 1-2 for Bertrix.

The first part of the second half saw Torhout protecting its goal while trying to score at the other end. At the 68th minute a foolish foul saw the Red card for Bertrix, from then on they were to play with only 10 men. With this, the speedy Christiaens would deliver a "great cross" from the left side for an easy goal, the score tied at 2-2 in the 78th minute! Brimming with confidence, Torhout continued its relentless attack while Bertrix again suffers a bone headed foul. At the 82nd minute they were down to 9 men on the pitch. At the 88th minute Jeffrey Christiaens again delivering a cross, this time a perfect one, landing at the shoe of a fellow Torhout player who promptly finds the back of the net. Torhout goal and a 3-2 win for the home team!
