NEIL ETHERIDGE'S Fulham draws home game against West Brom

MATCH REPORT: Neil Etheridge/Fulham FC/Barclay's Premier League, UK(1st Tier)

Feb 2 2012 Fulham  1-1  West Bromwich Albion

Martin Jol, Fulhams beleaguered coach made changes in his line up after last weeks FA Cup loss. As usual, for the last few games American International Clint Dempsey led the Whites in this home game. With bad intent, Fulham began the match very aggressive with West Brom only after 7 minutes have elapsed, making a dangerous foray into Fulhams side. The home team kept up the pressure but at the end of the half, the score was still tied at 0-0.

The second half saw the visitors fire the first goal shot, but was effectively stopped by Fulham keeper David Stockdale. The match now becoming messier as neither team would give up the ball too easily. Eventually the American scoring machine, Clint Dempsey would find the back of the net at the 69th minute, score 1-0 for the home team. The visiting team then substituted a midfielder and moments later, the player scored the last and tying goal(82'). The rest of the match saw Fulham attack aggressively yet could not buy a goal. Match end, 1-1.

Fulham is now 13th in the 20 team EPL.

Neil Etheridge was in the game roster yet did not play. Neil was the starter for the reserve team match against the Wolverhampton Wanderers on Jan 30, a 0-1 win.

Next fixture: Feb 5 2012 an away game against Manchester City, currently in 1st place.
