PAUL MULDERS in starting XI with ADO's youth team win.

Paul Mulders was again with the ADO Den Haag youth team in their white knuckled match against a very feisty Heerenveen youth team. They would eventually win the back-and-forth match, four goals to three. Despite being in the game roster for the senior team a day ago in the 2-0 loss to NEC, Paul was again in the game roster for this youth fixture but this time he was in the starting XI and wound up finishing the entire match.

It would seem that the team wants a full strength Paul Mulders for its final season push for a respectable record in the Netherlands premier football league, the Eredivisie. Though Paul is not a starter in the team he, more or less, do get good minutes to close out matches before suffering his groin injury about a week ago.

If healthy, Paul has acknowledged wanting to play with the Azkals in the Challenge Cup but have yet to formally ask his coach and management officially. Meanwhile Dan Palami, from a news report earlier, is eager to get the attacking mid standout involved with the Azkals in its push for football glory in the Challenge Cup tournament which begins this March.

Trivia: There are 4 foreign based Filipinos that have played with the Azkals who CURRENTLY also play in their country's premier soccer league with their SENIOR teams. Neil Etheridge, Ray Jonsson, Jerry Lucena and Paul Mulders, BUT Stephan Schröck might be the next as his team is poised to be promoted to 1.Bundesliga.
