MATCH REPORT: Stephan Schröck/SpVgg Greuther Fürth/2.Bundesliga, Germany(2nd Tier)

Nov 1 2011  Greuther Fürth  1-3  Eintracht Braunschweig

Stephan's Cloverleafs finally comes back down to earth and loses a league game. Perhaps it was a portent to come when at the very 1st minute the visiting team had a great shot on Greuther Fürth's goal. It must have shook the home team for at the 25th minute, the visitors were finally on the score board 0-1. Until the end of the first half the Cloverleafs struggle to find its game.
 

It was a better beginning for the home team at the second half but this would not last as the opponent scored in the 52nd minute, score 0-2, EB. Stephan Schröck having a good look at the goal at the 55th minute shot but missed due to a deflection. The Cloverleaf finally found the back of the net at the 83rd minute yet the euphoria was short lived as another away team goal 3 minutes later sealed the loss for the home team in front of at least 10,000 shocked fans.

Greuther Fürth falls to 3rd place in the 2.Bundesliga.

SS started and finished the match. He also received a Yellow card in the 87th minute.

Next fixture:  Nov 5 2011 an away game against St. Pauli, currently in 4th place.
