County Cup
It was a very ugly home loss for Rob Gier's Yellamen as it was embarrassed in the 1st round of the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy games. The first half saw the Yellamen very competitive but when the half time bell rang, they were already trailing.
The second half saw a different Ascot team as they were thoroughly dominated on the pitch. Close to the end, they were down 4 goals to none and no hope to catch up. Ascot loses badly at home.
Despite new personnel in the defensive side of Ascot U's team, results have been spotty at best. Rob Gier continues to be a mainstay in defense, he started and finished the match.
Next fixture: Nov 5 2011 an away game against Wantage Town, currently in 10th place.
