Oct 30 2011  Hamburger SV  1-1  Kaiserslautern

Its the week of the upset fom the struggling teams of our Filipino-foreigners, as Kevin's HSV plays to a draw a better team and with only 10 men! Once again HSV puts itself in a hole by having one of its players get a Red card at an early 22nd minute. Although the defense put up a good fight in the first half, only allowing a goal in the 38th minute.

The HSV team was determined to hold the visiting opponent to one goal. Amidst the estimated 55,000 fans in the Imtech Arena, HSV battled back to tie the game at 65th minute. From there, with the help of the thousands of screaming home fan, HSV emerged 'victorious' in a way as they earned an improbable point with only 10 men on the pitch for much of the match. With this fine showing of guts and skill, HSV slowly crawls away from the very bottom of the 1.Bundesliga. They are now up 1 rank to 16th in the 18 team German premier league.

Kevin remains in the 1st team roster but was not included in the game roster.

Note: Kevin played the entire match(Sunday 30th) with the Junior A team or U19 team of HSV against SV Werder Bremen. Kevin started to play with the Junior A team in Aug 8th after returning from injury. Out of 8 games, he has started and finished the whole match 3 times and twice was subbed out in mid second half. The HSV U19 team is unbeaten in 8 North/Northeast league fixtures.

Kevin's brother Ricky Ingreso plays for HSV III, and played this Sunday against  Lieth 1. A 1-0 win, he subbed in at the 83rd minute.

Next fixture: Nov 6 2011 an away game against Bayer Leverkusen, currently in 8th place.
