JERRY LUCENA'S AGF plays first game of 2012 and moves up to 3rd place in the Danish Superliga

MATCH REPORT: Jerry Lucena/AGF Aarhus/Superliga, Denmark(1st Tier)

Mar 4 2012  AGF  1-1  Nordsjælland

Jerry Lucena's AGF plays a true Superliga powerhouse to a draw and climbs up the rankings in their first game of the spring season.  Playing at home at the NRGi Park with 11500 fans in attendance, AGF would start out quite tepid, with Nordsjælland threatening if not for the heroics of one of Denmarks best goal keeper Steffen Rasmussen. Despite this, at the 18th minute Nordsjælland would score as Jery Lucena would be beaten in this left side action, 0-1 for the visiting team. The rest of the 1st half would see AGF trying to control the pitch as they tried to tie the game. Fortunate for AGF at the dying seconds of the first half, a soft shot at goal would tie the game, 1-1 at the 45th minute.

The second half would be much better for AGF. The home team would have chances at goal and at the other end, their goalie would continue his heroic deeds. In the end, both teams would nullify each other and the game would end in a very good draw for AGF.

AGF climbs to 3rd place in the 12 team Danish Superliga.

Jerry Lucena started and finished the match.

Next fixture: Mar 12 2012 an away game against Brøndby, currently in 10th place.
