MATCH REPORT: Denis Wolf/1.FC Magdeburg/Regionalliga Nord, Germany(4th tier)

Denis Wolf's 1.FC Magdeburg pulled out an upset win against a better team, Germania Halberstadt. This is good news for the Regionalliga Nord minnow who has been on a long none winning streak. Magdeburg opened the scoring at the 35th minute as the first half ended at 0-1.
The second half saw Denis' team score the game winner at the 74' but Germania would score only 7 minutes later. The score would be 1-2 at the end for a much needed win for Magdeburg.
There is a Regionalliga "split"(new Regionalliga divisions) for the 2012 season, therefore there is no "relegation" until the 2012-2013 season.
Denis Wolf was not in the game roster.
Next fixture: Apr 6 2012 a home game against Wolfsburg II, currently in 8th place.
