You didn't forget about Oliver Pötschke did you? Oliver still plays in Berlin in the same team he was in last season, and yes it's true they were relegated. READ ( HERE ).


Having been recently relegated this season they now play in the Berlin Landesliga Staffel 2. They fall to the 7th tier in the German football pyramid. Sad to say they are a far cry from their glory years in the 70's when they went up to the 2nd tier in the Regionalliga Berlin and just missed promotion to the 2.Bundesliga in 1980.

Come what may, Oliver continues to ply his trade with his unlucky team and by the look of things, he's been given more pitch time. In the teams very early 2012-2013 season, Oliver has been a part of the starting XI through out.

26/08  (Win)1.FC Galatasaray Spandau  2-4  BFC Preussen  - Started, played full 90'

They currently are in 5th place in the 16 team league with a 2-1-0 record. Third on offense with 10 goals scored and midtable on defense with 6 allowed goals. It's a long season and BFC Preussen still has to do better if they hope to rise again but after three league games, they have not suffered a loss yet. They deffinitely are on the right track.
