2011/12 END of SEASON report: Oliver Pötschke and BFC Preussen Berlin

RELEGATION! The once proud team of Oliver Pötschke finally succumbs to the inevitable as BFC Preussen Berlin 1894 e.V. after struggling for two straight seasons, is relegated from the Berlin-Liga(6th tier) to the Landesliga Berlin(7th tier).

As recently as the 2007-2008 season, the team reached the NOFV Oberliga Nord(4th tier), a level where current Philippine national team player Manny Ott plays at. Denis Wolf and Patrick Reichelt also used to play in this tier.

The team finished eighteenth in the nineteen team league. After 36 league games they finished with an 8-8-20 record. The team scored 52 goals and allowed 80. Both below the average for the league.
