Neil Etheridge, Roland Müller and Jason de Jong to UAE. Jacques Van Bossche and Angelo Verheye to the Hassanal Bolkiah Tournament

There are unconfirmed reports today that the Azkals will have the services of more of its professional European based Filipino players available for the UAE training camp. Though concern was voiced earlier of "missing" veteran Azkal players such as striker Nate Burkey and right back Anton del Rosario and amidst nasty rumors concerning their alleged suspension or removal from the team, the squad nevertheless marched on to camp with it's new German Filipino recruit and veteran Bundesliga striker Denis Wolf and Philippine based contingent.

Not anymore. The on again off again addition of young Stallion FC star Ruben Doctora Jr has again been reconfirmed(?). The undoubted best goal keeper of the team, Fulham FC's young gun Neil Etheridge will now join the team on Feb 14 just in time to face the Australian U23 team. Oberliga's MSV Duiburg II and Philippine U23 starting goalkeeper Roland Müller will also join the camp on Feb 10.

Philippine national team 'bad boy' Jason de Jong has also been tagged to join the team further solidifying the defensive midfielder position. Jason has been playing with the youth team of FC Dordrecht(in the Netherlands) and has recently scored a goal with the team. Despite his young age, Jason has been with the senior team longer than most of its foreign based members. Word from our Belgian based source say that Jason was not going to attend if his invitation was just for the Hassanal Bolkiah U21 Tournament but since the defensive midfield position lacked depth, with only Lexton Moy who naturally plays that position available, national team leadership changed it's mind. He will arrive Feb 8 in the UAE.

The Azkals will depart today, Tuesday at 5:30 pm or thereabouts.

*This just in, Azkal official Ace Bright has stated that THEY have not released an official roster for the UAE camp.

HASSANAL BOLKIAH TOURNAMENT

CB Jacques Van Bossche
Meanwhile the U21(reinforced) competition to be held in Brunei this month will have a Philippine team among its competitors. European based Philippine national youth team member Jacques Van Bossche(Standaard Wetteren reserve squad member, Belgium) who plays center back will be arriving around next Monday and Philippine born Angelo Verheye(KAA Gent U21 team, Belgium) will also join the squad and will be arriving this Friday. Another Belgian based senior team member Jeffrey Christiaens(KM Torhout, Belgium) was penciled in for both competition but recently got injured and report was that he was not going to be released by his club anyway.

As of today there is NO official roster released by the camp of U21 coach Zoran D.

**Like everything else THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL document. Take it with a grain of salt!
