Another home loss for Rob Gier's Ascot United, is there no end in sight? Although playing at home, opening the game well in the early minutes with a quick strike at 10' the momentum just could not be sustained for the full 90 as the visiting Reading Town scored later in the second half(69' and 84') to steal a win from the disappointed home crowd.
Ascot played without its leading scorer. The defensive adjustment/new players have so far not paid dividends for Ascot U. They have not earned 3 points in 6 games! Ascot is now 12th in the 21 team Hellenic Premier League.
Rob Gier was not in the roster, he was injured during the LAG vs Azkal exhibition game. He will be out until late Jan 2012.
