MATCH REPORT: Manny Ott/Ingolstadt II/Regionalliga Sud(south), Germany(4th Tier)

Nov 12 2011 Karlsruher SC II  1-2  Ingolstadt II

Manny Ott's young Schanzer's continue on its mini winning streak as they beat Karlsruher at an away game. The home team struck first at an early 17th minute and would hold the lead for almost the entire game. At the half, the score was 0-1 for the home team.

The second half was more of the same as Ingolstadt II had difficulty in penetrating the home teams defense. Only at the late 87th minute did manny's team score the equalizer. Not yet satisfied with the draw, Ingolstadt II battled on until the 90th minute when they scored the game winner.

The young Schanzers are now 6th in the 18 team division.

Manny Ott is with the Philippine U23 team playing in the SEAG. He is a starter for the team and has scored a total of 2 goals in 4 games. He will not play in the last game as he collected 2 yellow cards previously.

It is also fortuitous that the kindergarten coach currently coaching my national team has let him play in his natural position and not at defensive positions as the coach has done to a few other true midfielders in the team.

Next fixture: Nov 19 2011 an away game against Waldhof Mannheim, currently in 11th place.
