Nov 13 2011 Algeciras 2-1 Racing Portuense
It is the same old story for Carli's RCP, a failure to win close games, as they suffer defeat against home team, Algeciras. Due to the absence of their starting RB in Carli and a few others starters, the team just did not have the needed finishing touch. The 1st half was played to a draw, though on offense RCP was already showing its offensive shortcomings.
The second half began its scoring at the 56th minute when the home team scored. It was tied about 20 minutes later by RCP. At the 81st minute the final goal by the opposing home team was scored, 1-2 to Algeciras. RCP furiously tried to gain a draw but unfortunately a 2nd booking for one of their players had them shorthanded. In the end RCP could not score anymore goals as they once again lose a winnable game.
RCP is 15th in their 20 team division.
Carli has been a very dependable starter of the Philippine U23 team competing in the SEAG. He is one of the lucky once as his coach has not deemed it necessary to "experiment" with his position.
Next fixture: Nov 20 2011 a home game against Atlético Sanluqueño CF, currently at 1st place.
