2012 IN-SEASON REPORT: Chris & Simon Greatwich and the Morris County Colonials




KNOCKING ON "PLAYOFF'S" DOOR. The Morris County Colonials are an American soccer team in the NPSL playing in the Northeast - Keystone Conference. They sit in the 4th tier of the American soccer pyramid. Veteran Azkal midfielder Christopher Greatwich is a first year head coach and player of the team(he coached the youth teams last season), his younger brother Simon is also on the teams roster.



As of today, the Colonials have two games left and needing just two points for the teams first forays in the playoffs since the teams inception in 2007. They have never placed higher than 4th in previous seasons.




The Colonials currently sit in second place in the 7 team conference. They have a record of 6-3-1, with the only loss to the first place team, FC Sonic. They are the highest scoring team in the conference with 32 goals(the second highest scored only 22) and is second on defense with 14 goals surrendered.


Good luck to head coach Chris Greatwich and brother Simon in their search for a first ever playoff berth with the Morris County Colonial.
