Manny Ott's young Schanzers defended its home pitch well and demolished 17th place Bayern Alzenau. The home team scored at the 18th minute as Bayern Alzenau proved capable on defense in the first half. 1-0 for the home team.
The second half was different, as the visiting team could not keep its high level of defensive play for the whole match. Ingolstadt II began its domination at the 54' when they scored their second goal. Bayern Alzenau got into the score board with a Penalty Goal at the 70th minute. Not to be outdone the young Schanzer's scored a minute later(71') and closed out the game with a final strike at the 88th minute. 4-1 for Manny's Ingolstadt II.
The team is now 6th in the 18 team Regionalliga Sud. They head into winter break in very good shape.
Manny Ott, at the time of this posting, is in Manila. There is a question if his contract with the team is over or not.
Next fixture: Mar 3 2012 an away game against FSV Frankfurt II, currently in 16th place.
