Oct 29 2011 Standaard Wetteren 1-1 Sporting Charleroi
After losing 6 games in a row, the Lions, playing at home finally breaks the spell and draws with Sporting Charleroi. The opponent, who is now 3rd place(before this game they were 2nd) in the division probably expected to make easy work of the bottom dwelling Standaard Wetteren. With the Lions futile attempt in goal production and a pedestrian defense, it was truly a surprise when at the end of regulation the score remained at 1-1!

Both goals were scored in the first half. Unfortunately, it seems the hole that the lions are in is just too deep to crawl out of with just a tie. The team remains at 18th and last place after 11 league games with only 3 points to show for.
