Juan Luis Guirado's Racing Lermeño has been terrible in 2012. Since the last team report, Racing Lermeño would lose heavily against powerhouse Bembibre and fought to a point winning draw against contender Villaralbo.

Racing Lermeño, more or less, since Juani left to join the Philippine national team has a 0 win, 2 ties and 5 loss record. In its past 7 games the team has only scored 2 goals(!) and has surrendered 18! Clearly it needs help both in offense and defense.

Racing Lermeño is currently 16th in the 21 team Tercera Div, Group 8.

Juani is due to leave the Philippines on Monday and is due to get married in June(Quinito Henson). Both brothers are also scheduled to appear with the Philippines in the Suzuki Cup later in the year.

Fans of Racing Lermeño are now asking in their forum if Juani will: volverá para el tramo final de la temporada? Or roughly translated, "return for the final leg of the season?"

Meanwhile, Juani has become an integral part of the Azkals, being able to play both center mid and center back positions at a very high level. He also scored a goal in the recently concluded AFC Challenge Cup where the team surprised everyone but themselves by finishing 3rd overall.
