SEASON RECAP: Rob Gier/Ascot United/Uhlsport Premier League, United Kingdom(9th tier)
Since my last report on Nov 12, Ascot United has played 5 games.
Nov 19 Shrivenham 2-2 Ascot United; DNP, not in game roster
Nov 22 Ascot United 0-5 Flackwell Heath; started and played the entire match
Nov 26 Shortwood United 0-4 Ascot United; DNP, not in game roster
Dec 3 Ascot United 2-2 Slimbridge; DNP, not in game roster/playing in the Philippines vs LA Galaxy
Dec 6 Thame United 2-2 Ascot United; DNP, not in game roster
To date Ascot United is in the 'middle of the pack'(11th place) in the 21 team Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League. Their record is as follows: 7win, 5draw and 10loss. In 22 games they have scored 39 goals but have surrendered an incredible 52 goals!
As Ascot United has been busy with acquiring new players to help their defense, Rob has seen his playing time drastically cut. In all of the 5 games played listed above, he has only played 1, the 0-5 defeat against Flackwell Heath where he played the entire match. Rob Gier also played in the Philippines with the National Team against the LA Galaxy where he was injured in the first quarter of the match. Obviously, he will have to miss more Ascot United games as he seeks to heal from the injury.
Rob plays in defense and has not yet scored a goal.
Next fixture: Dec 13 2011 a home game against Reading Town, currently in 8th place.
