Former Man City youth and A-League player turned coach, ALAN WILLIAMSON would like to coach for you!

In his favorite Man City jersey

Coach Alan Williamson wants to coach your team and he's got the credentials to back it up.

But first an introduction. Alan says that he is "in my fifties although super fit..." he is also married to a Filipina from Davao, the former Melody Fuentes Huyatid and they have a daughter. Because of this, he says that getting a visa would be no problem. He continues, saying that his favorite place is Cebu(and coaching there wouldn't be a bad thing at all) and that he loves Jollibee and Lechon, with moderation of course!

Like most coaches worth their salt Alan began at the other side of the equation, he was a player first. At the age of 16 he was signed on into the books of that storied club, Manchester City! He learned his craft there for two years then being released at the age of 18.

Alan then went on to play semi professionally for Nelson, Atherton LR and other clubs around Manchester.

Seeking more challenges and getting a chance to play for West Adelaide in the Australian National League he decided to emigrate to Australia. He also played for Newcastle(NSW) United.

After his competitive playing days wound down, he began what he describes as a "hugely successful coaching career". Alan continues by saying that he has attained coaching accreditation right up to the highest level and now hold Advanced 'B' certification within AFC.

He has coached numerous Junior and Senior teams to success and was rewarded senior positions that include: Representative Coach, Elite Development Coach and was even a Director of Coaching in NSW(New South Wales, a state of Australia) for a number of years. He also coached the NSW U13 team at the "titles" to become joint champs after many mediocre years.

Of course, his love for playing the beautiful game did not end when he officially retired and began his coaching career. Still playing at a high level he was part of the Australia over 35 level and he stated that, at his age he still plays to a high standard. Now in Australia, Alan still puts his boots on against twenty year old players. "This makes demonstarting within my coaching so much better," he added. Alan has also led teams from Australia on overseas tours of New Zealand and Fiji.

Coach Williamson pointed out that he has coached numerous youngsters who have gone on to make careers in football from Australia to the United Kingdom. The list include Richard Johnson(ex captain of Watford) and Jon Brady(ex Rushden & Diamonds) and many more.

He has just spent two years in England playing football after coaching for more or less two decades and is now ready to take up new and exciting challenges. He further states that he would like to start ASAP. Finally he says that if anyone is "keen enough to invest in a hard working(with experience and ability) successful coach" look no further, he is your man.

Currently based in Australia, he states that moving to the Philippines would not be a major undertaking.

Coach Williamson is available for "full time" higher level coaching from college to UFL teams from either divisions. If anyone is interested please message me your contact information and I will forward it to the coach. Among other things he will present you with his accreditations.
