MATCH REPORT: Neil Etheridge/Fulham FC/Barclay's Premier League, UK(1st Tier)
Feb 25 2012 Queens Park Rangers 0-1 Fulham
Neil Etheridge's Fulham FC stole one from the struggling Queens Park Rangers and stays in the middle of the pack in the English Premier League. The defensively inept QPR team made it harder on themselves as they allowed Fulham an early(7') goal and following that a double yellow card resulting in a man advantage for Fulham at the 33rd minute. The score line remained at 1-0 for the visiting Fulham team at the half.
The equally offensively inept Fulham team could do no more as they could not score with a man advantage for over 45 minutes. Lucky to escape with a win, Fulham climbs to 11 in the 20 team Barclays Premier League.
Neil Etheridge has dropped to 3rd goal keeper with the return of the injured Schwarzer and the returned from a loan, David Stockdale. He was not in the game roster.
Next fixture: Mar 4 2012 a home game against Wolverhampton Wanderers, currently in 16th place.

Will Neil Etheridge play for the Azkals this November in the Suzuki cup?
ReplyDeleteWill the Philippines play on a friendly match against Fulham FC? If so, will Neil play for the Philippines or Fulham?
ReplyDeleteThat would be an interesting game.... So excited for the Azkals!
There are mumblings of a Fulham FC visit this year. Dunno 'bout NE, but I think he'll play for the Philippines against Fulham, just to show them what he can do :)
ReplyDeleteAs for playing in Nov, if he is still buried in the depth chart, why not? But he could be loaned out too.
Oh I hope he would play for the Philippines.... If not, whom would be the next choice? Will it be Sacapanio again? I hope it would be Muller.
