Manny Ott's young Schanzers continue its winning ways as it defeats Bayern München II at home 1 to 0. The first half saw both teams blanked, but the fireworks had just began in this game.
The second half began much the same as the first until Manny's team scored at the 64th minute on a penalty goal. It was a good thing as in the 71st minute a Red card resulted in Ingolstadt II playing 10 men until the end of regulation time. Perhaps not content with 10 men, in injury time(92nd min) a double Yellow card resulted in another Ingolstadt II player ejected from the game! With 9 men, the home team held out for the narrow win.
Ingolstadt II climbs to 7th in the Regionalliga South.
Manny is in Jakarta, Indonesia with the Philippine U23 team, he scored the only goal in a defeat against the very strong Vietnamese U23 team. It was also his first score for the Philippines.
